Bedbugs Control Services

Vancouver is the 3rd most popular city for bedbugs in Canada.  Bedbugs are small, wingless insects that feed on the blood of people and animals while we are asleep. They can easily moved from room to room on infested objects though they cannot easily climb metal or polished surfaces.

The good news is that as long as they have access to you then they will be well-fed. Bed bugs do not cause physical damage to your home though can negatively impact your comfort level, ability to sleep and reduce your property value.

 Bedbug Eggs

  • are laid in cracks and crevices, behind woodwork and other hidden areas.

  • usually hatch in 6 to 17 days.

 Adult Bedbugs
  • can be as long as 10mm.

  • have an oval, broad, flat body and a short, broad head.

  • are brown but darken after feeding.

  • can live from several weeks to up to a year and a half without feeding.

  • can be found under wallpaper, behind picture frames, in electrical outlets, inside box springs, in mattress pads, and in night tables.

 Bedbugs Treatment

By the time you suspect a bedbug infestation and reach out to a professional to confirm it, the bedbugs likely have been in your unit for several weeks. It is important to reach out to a pest control specialist immediately to ensure infestation doesn't get worsen.  Our technician will arrange for an on-site inspection to determine an appropriate treatment plan for each particular situation.

Depending on level of infestation, treatment can be performed using traditional pesticide sprays, steam, vacuums and more and would likely require a minimum of 2 separate visits.

The easiest and most effective way to deal with bed bugs is to hire a professional pest control specialist. Very few people have the skills, experience, and time to properly identify and destroy bedbugs like a pro. Pest control professionals have the proper equipment, products, resources, and most importantly the knowledge to get the job done right and effectively.
